Union wins APPR reprieve

Gov. Kathy Hochul Friday signed a bill suspending, for an additional year, the Annual Professional Performance Review process. Advanced through grassroots advocacy from NYSUT members and lobbying by union legislative staff, the bill recently passed both the state Senate and the Assembly.

ATA Election of Officers

In compliance with the Landrum-Griffin Act, the Auburn Teachers' Association will be accepting nominations for the election of officers for the 2014-2015 school year.

 

The positions for Executive Officers are:

President, Executive Officer, First Vice-President, Second Vice-President, Secretary and Treasurer.

 

Election of Delegates

There are two delegate positions and one alternate position open.  (Delegates attend ED7&8 meetings, NYSUT, AFT and NEA conferences as approved by the executive committee.)

 

Any member in good standing is eligible.  Petitions may be obtained
